Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using GTN Tuning services. By booking a service or submitting your information, you fully agree to these terms.
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all ECU remapping, diagnostics, tuning, consultations and related services provided by Global Tactical Network S.R.L. (GTN Tuning). By engaging our services, you agree to the rules, limitations and responsibilities outlined here.
2. Nature of ECU Tuning Services
All performance figures, gains and improvements mentioned on our website or communicated to you are estimates. Actual results depend greatly on the mechanical health, condition and configuration of your vehicle.
- ECU remapping is a software modification service.
- Results may vary between vehicles, even of the same model.
- No performance level is guaranteed unless explicitly stated in writing.
Pre-diagnostics is highly recommended to verify that the car is suitable for tuning.
3. Customer Responsibilities
By submitting your vehicle for tuning, the customer confirms that:
- The vehicle is in good mechanical condition, free of major faults.
- All necessary maintenance (oil, filters, timing, turbo health, etc.) has been performed.
- There are no hidden or undisclosed mechanical/electrical faults.
- They understand that tuning increases engine load and can expose pre-existing weaknesses.
The customer bears full responsibility for the legality of any modification done to the vehicle.
4. Legal Compliance for Modifications
Some modifications may be illegal for road use, depending on your local regulations:
- DPF/GPF removal or deactivation
- EGR/AdBlue removal
- Catalytic converter removal
- Pops & bangs / aggressive exhaust sound maps
- Speed limiter removal
- Race-only calibrations
The customer accepts full legal responsibility for any emissions or hardware modification performed at their request.
5. Warranty Limitations
GTN Tuning provides warranty exclusively for the software file delivered, and not for the mechanical components of the vehicle.
Your manufacturer warranty may be affected or voided by ECU tuning.
- We do not cover engine, turbo, clutch, gearbox or differential failures.
- We do not cover electrical faults, wiring issues or failing sensors.
- We do not cover mechanical wear accelerated due to tuning.
Vehicles with existing mechanical issues may experience worsened symptoms after tuning; GTN Tuning is not responsible in such cases.
6. Limitation of Liability
GTN Tuning shall not be held liable for:
- Hidden mechanical faults present before tuning
- Incorrect or abusive driving after tuning
- Improper maintenance or use of poor-quality fuel
- Illegal road use of race-only or off-road calibrations
- Third-party repair work or installation errors
- Any loss, damage or cost resulting from tuning a defective vehicle
You acknowledge that tuning places additional stress on the powertrain and accept this risk.
7. Payments, Deposits & Refunds
ECU remapping is a customized digital service. As such:
- No refunds are possible once tuning work has begun or software has been written.
- Deposits (if required) are non-refundable.
- Diagnostic fees may apply if tuning cannot proceed due to mechanical issues.
8. Booking, Cancellation & Rescheduling
- Appointments may be rescheduled at no cost with reasonable notice.
- Last-minute cancellations may incur a fee depending on technician travel or preparation workload.
- Cancellations after the tuning process has started cannot be refunded.
9. Software Protection and Copyright
All tuning files, calibrations and digital content produced by GTN Tuning are copyrighted materials.
- You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the software.
- Unauthorized duplication or resale is strictly prohibited.
10. Use of Vehicle During Testing
In some cases, brief on-road testing may be required to verify boost levels, fueling, temperatures or drivability.
By booking the service, you consent to safe, controlled testing performed by our specialists.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Romanian law and applicable EU legislation. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent Romanian courts.
12. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a service, contacting us or submitting your vehicle for tuning, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
